Decimal hours are not clock minutes
Thirty minutes equals 0.5 decimal hours, while 15 minutes equals 0.25. Use the decimal output when a timesheet asks for hundredths of an hour.

No. Net duration stops at zero.

They express minutes as a fraction of 60, such as 7 hours 30 minutes becoming 7.5 hours.
Does the calculator include dates?＋
No. It works with one clock-time period of up to 24 hours.
Can I use it for payroll?＋
It can calculate time, but apply your employer's rounding, overtime, and break policies separately.
