Split PDF

Extract the exact pages you need into a new PDF.

Separate pages or ranges with commas. Repeated pages are included once.

Use the Split PDF in three steps

01

Choose a PDF

Open the document and let the tool read its page count.

02

Enter the pages

Use a list such as 1, 3-5, 9 to select exactly what you need.

03

Download the extract

Save the selected pages together as a new PDF.

Useful for long documents

Page extraction is handy when you need to submit one form, share a chapter, or separate an invoice from a larger scan. The source PDF remains unchanged.

How page ranges work

Commas separate selections and a hyphen includes every page in a range. The output follows the order of pages in the original document and ignores repeated selections.

Split PDF FAQ

Does splitting reduce PDF quality?

No. Selected pages are copied into a new PDF without converting them to images.

Can I enter several page ranges?

Yes. A value such as 1-3, 7, 10-12 combines all those pages into one output PDF.

Can I split a locked PDF?

A password-protected or restricted PDF must be unlocked by an authorized owner first.

Will the original PDF be changed?

No. The tool only reads the selected file and creates a separate download.

Can I extract just one page?

Yes. Enter a single page number and the download will contain only that page.

Are bookmarks copied to the new PDF?

Page content is retained, but document-level bookmarks and outline entries may not carry over.
