Use the Image Resizer in three steps
Choose an image
Open an image from your device.
Enter dimensions
Set the target width and height in pixels.
Resize and save
Download the resized result as a PNG.
Keep proportions when possible
A linked aspect ratio prevents faces, logos, and objects from looking stretched. Unlock the dimensions only when the destination requires an exact shape.
Upscaling has limits
Making a small source image much larger cannot invent missing detail. For the cleanest result, begin with an image at least as large as the required output.
Image Resizer FAQ
What format is downloaded?+
The resized image is saved as PNG to preserve a clean, predictable result.
Can I resize without cropping?+
Yes. The entire image is scaled to the dimensions you enter; this tool does not crop it.
What does the Linked option do?+
Linked keeps the original width-to-height ratio. Changing one dimension automatically calculates the other so the image does not stretch.
Can I resize an image to larger dimensions?+
Yes, but enlarging beyond the source dimensions cannot restore missing detail and may make the result look softer.
Does this tool crop the image?+
No. It scales the complete image to the dimensions entered. Use matching proportions to avoid distortion.
Will a transparent background remain transparent?+
PNG output can retain transparency when the browser successfully reads it from the source image.
