Use the PNG to JPG in three steps
Choose an image
Select a PNG or WebP file from your device.
Set quality and background
Pick the JPEG quality and the color that replaces transparency.
Convert and download
Create the JPG and save it immediately.
What happens to transparency
JPEG does not support transparent pixels. This converter fills transparent areas with the background color you choose before creating the JPG.
Choose quality for the job
A setting near 85–92% is a useful starting point for most images. Lower settings can reduce file size but may introduce visible artifacts around text and sharp edges.
PNG to JPG FAQ
Can JPG keep a transparent background?+
No. JPEG has no transparency channel, so transparent pixels must be replaced with a solid color.
Does conversion resize the image?+
No. The original pixel width and height are retained.
Why is the JPG sometimes larger than the PNG?+
Simple graphics can compress more efficiently as PNG. JPEG is usually better suited to photographs and detailed color images.
Which background should I choose?+
White is common for documents and marketplaces, but you can select any color that matches the destination.
Does the original file remain available?+
Yes. The converter creates a new JPG and does not modify your source image.
Can I convert WebP too?+
Yes. The same tool accepts WebP and creates a standard JPG download.
